Returns a JSON array of file objects with direct download links.

Authentication

All API requests require a valid token passed via the Authorization header using the Bearer scheme.

Authorization: Bearer <your_token>

Your token is a split-token in the format token_id.secret. You can find it on your dashboard under Subscription Status. Example: a1b2c3d4.8f9e7d6c-5b4a-3c2d-1e0f-9a8b7c6d5e4f. The part before the dot is the token ID; after is the secret. The API hashes the secret server-side.

Keep your token secret. Never expose it in client-side code. Rotate it from the dashboard if compromised.

API Endpoints

Core endpoints for fetching file data, downloading, and streaming. All endpoints require the Authorization: Bearer header unless stated otherwise.

GET/?url={diskwala_url}

Retrieve a list of downloadable files (videos, documents, etc.) from a DiskWala sharing link.

GET/fast-download?file_id={file_id}

Directly download the file. The response is a binary stream with appropriate content-disposition.

Optional strategy parameter: cloudflare (default) or direct.

GET/stream?file_id={file_id}

For video files, returns an M3U8 playlist that can be used with HLS players.

GET/health

Check API and database health.

Returns {"status":"healthy"} when all systems are operational.

Errors: 401 missing or invalid token · 403 no active plan or limit reached · 429 too many requests. Full reference and OpenAPI 3.1 in the interactive docs.

How do I get my API token?

After signing up and subscribing to a plan, your token will appear in the dashboard under "Subscription Status."

What happens if I exceed my request limit?

You will receive a 429 Too Many Requests error. You can upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Go to your dashboard, click "Manage Plan," and select "Cancel Subscription." You will retain access until the end of your current period.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data, both at rest and in transit. Passwords and tokens are never stored in plain text.

Do you offer custom plans?

Yes! Visit the Pricing page and select "Create Custom Plan" to get a tailored solution for your needs.

Can I use the TeraBox API with the same account?

Yes. One APIPANEL.IN account can use both the DiskWala API and the TeraBox API. Each service has its own token, plan, request limit and billing, so a DiskWala plan never affects TeraBox.

2. API Usage

  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API for your applications.
  • Rate limits apply based on your subscription plan.
  • You may not use the API for any illegal or abusive purposes.
  • You are responsible for securing your API tokens and credentials.

3. Fair Use Policy

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that:

  • Exceed reasonable usage limits beyond their subscription.
  • Engage in activity that degrades service performance for other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or bypass our security measures.

4. Refund and Cancellation

  • All paid plans are non-refundable once the subscription period begins.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; no further charges will be made.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.

6. Limitation of Liability

DiskWala API is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
